that Kennedy and I made together make it feel Halloweeny.. Everything else is just filled in with regular Fall decor.Pumpkins and corn stalks from the garden, some faux leaves stuck to the wall, and cozy plaid blankets.. We really got a whole lot of pumpkins out of the pumpkin patch in our garden this year, so that definitely helped my cause when it came to Fall decorating.. Let’s step into the kitchen now….These faux leaves were my find of the season this year.

They were $1.50 for a pack of 10 and add so much fun atmosphere just by sticking them up on the wall.My DIY haunted house pillow made it out for another year too.. Kennedy’s going to be having a little Halloween party next week for some of her friends so I’ll probably spookify it in here a little more with some spider webs and some torn paper streamers.

For now, I like the mix of cheerful Fall decor with just a little bit of Halloween thrown in.. We’ve got our.

Pottery Barn Kids inspired Halloween countdown calendar. And that makes me a little crazy.. -I broke the office-style tile ceiling in the summer when I was trying to hang a big lantern from it so it droops, but it doesn’t really matter because the whole ceiling needs to come out, be raised up to original height and be re-done.

And that makes me a little crazy..The thing is though, it’s the first room I see when I get up in the morning and it was looking pretty sad after all the Summer decorations had been put away.

So I added in a few.hints of Fall, just to make it feel a little happier in there for now.. Oh, and this post should really be subtitled “….and then I added more burlap”, cause that was my solution to pretty much everything in here..
