The bathroom is obviously one of the dirtiest places in our homes and it can be a lot of work to keep it super sparkling clean on a daily basis.If you’re like most people and only have time to give it a quick once-over-when-it-needs-it during most of the year, this “Fall Cleaning” time is the perfect time to get to those parts of the room that you don’t normally get a chance to clean.

Sure, the bathroom looks pretty good with just a quick daily or weekly cleaning, but if you really get into all the nooks and crannies of the room, that’s when you’ll really see it shine!It’s great to experience that for yourself, even if it’s only once in a while and even if it only lasts a moment.It’s great motivation to keep the room just a little cleaner during the rest of the year too!.

Here’s a short list of a few of my favorite not-so-often-cleaned spots in the bathroom to get you started!.Gather your supplies first and clear the room of everything that you can.

Take things off of counter tops, the toilet tank, and out of the shower.

Open the windows and let the fresh air in!and you’re ready to paint and prime..

If you’ll be sanding by hand, you’ll be REALLY happy that you took my advice because your life will be so much easier with just this little bit of sanding to do.If you’re using an electric sander, make sure you’re super gentle with your sanding.

I find it helps to use a really fine grit sand-paper that’s even a bit worn out to make sure I don’t overdo it..I’m always so impressed and excited by what a big difference a bit of fresh drywall can make in a room.
